Educating buildOn members and other students about important global issues is one of buildOn's core activities, along with community service and sponsoring the construction of schools overseas. With a few quick clicks, students, teachers and Independent Program members can access an abundance of information and useful tools which take learning about the world we live in beyond the textbook.
These resources can be used to bring the buildOn experience to light in classrooms, after-school programs and other student activities. In fact, these resources are being used by buildOn students and advisors. This school year, more than 35,000 American students have been exposed to global issues through buildOn's Global Education materials.
