This lesson introduces the concept of universal human rights through examination of girls trafficking in Nepal and India. Students will analyze the reasons for the growing trade in underage girls from the perspective of a remote village in Nepal that participates in the practice. They will explore the dangers and risks involved with this trade and will explore the concept of cultural relativism as they determine if their universal human rights all people are entitled to.
