Leadership Committees

buildOn Leadership Committees provide a rewarding opportunity for business professionals to lend valuable volunteer and fundraising support to empower youth throughout the U.S. Individual committees help raise funds, plan and run events, and work hands-on with buildOn students.

With passion driven by the commitment and enthusiasm of buildOn students and teachers, self-starters can form Leadership Committees helping to:

• Increase public awareness and support of buildOn’s global mission to empower youth and end illiteracy.
• Support buildOn programs and services through fundraising events and networking opportunities.
• Volunteer for our many events such as weekend service projects with buildOn students and annual fundraising endeavors.

Currently, buildOn has active Leadership Committees in Chicago and New York City, and is in the process of forming another in the San Francisco Bay Area.
