Bay Area Leadership Committee
The buildOn Bay Area Leadership Committee (BALC) is a dedicated group of young professionals and volunteers who work to provide financial stability and volunteer support to further buildOn’s mission.
The lives of buildOn students and schools cannot be fully enriched without the help of others. The Bay Area Leadership Committee's passion lies in the success of buildOn's programs. Together we can change the lives of children and empower them with knowledge of the world.
What We Do
Our passion is driven by the commitment and enthusiasm of buildOn students and teachers throughout the Bay Area, across the U.S., and around the world.
Our goal is to:
- Increase public interest and awareness of buildOn.
- Support buildOn programs and services through fundraising events and networking opportunities.
- Volunteer at events such as weekend service projects with buildOn students.

- 3/27: 2nd Annual North Beach Pub Crawl, 4pm-8pm
Join us for the 2nd Annual Pub Crawl. The three bars will be Northstar, Board Room and Rogue - all on the same block in North Beach! We will be in the midst of the Elite 8 NCAA Basketball Playoffs, so wear a t-shirt in support of your team! All proceeds benefit sending a student on Trek for Knowledge.

- 5/19: 7th Annual buildOn Dinner at the Westin St. Francis
