Brett McNaught
Vice President, International Programs
While a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Niger from 2001 to 2003, Brett coordinated his first schoolhouse construction project and adult literacy program in partnership with the Nigerien Ministry of Education. Upon his return to the U.S., Brett drew on his affinity for building and passion for helping people help themselves and began building houses and supervising volunteers for Habitat for Humanity. He spent two years at New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity as Construction Supervisor and later Construction Manager.
Eager to return to rural development and education projects in developing countries, Brett joined buildOn in 2005 and two years later was promoted to Vice President of International Programs. He currently splits his time between the U.S. and international travel. Brett received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Arizona.
