Marc Friedman
Chief Operating Officer
Marc is Chief Operating Officer of buildOn, as well as one of its co-founders. He joined in 1997 at the bidding of Jim Ziolkowski, drawn by a passion for buildOn’s mission on both the international and domestic fronts. To this end, Marc is now charged with growing revenue by managing fundraising activities to assure that more people can be reached through buildOn programs.
Previously, Marc spent 13 years at Seacoast Electric Company in Hawthorne, New York, progressing from Vice President of Sales and Marketing to General Manager. He then became an equity partner at Elcan Technologies in Rye, New York, serving as Chief Operating Officer. Marc earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Western Michigan University. Along with a very full plate of responsibilities, he also sits on buildOn’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
